Returns and Warranties
- Customers can contact our Customer Service team by starting a Support Ticket. Tickets are answered in the order received.
- Order cancellation requests must be made prior to shipment. Once a tracking number has been generated, cancellation requests are not guaranteed to be fulfilled, and a $35 intercept fee will apply. For security reasons, we are unable to change shipping addresses for any reason.
- Returns may only be requested within fourteen (14) days of delivery. We issue a refund less original shipping and handling following return and inspection. A prepaid shipping label will only be provided if the product is reported by the customer as defective; return shipping will be deducted from the refund if we determine the product is not defective following inspection.
- Refunds are processed within five (5) business days of return. Store credit refunds are available for immediate use, while refunds to the original payment method are typically available within ten (10) business days of processing.
- Refunds, including store credits, are unable to be modified to a different form of payment once processed.
- Store credits are valid for one (1) year from the date of issuance. Any remaining balance not used after one (1) year will be voided.
- BitPay customers: the refunded cryptocurrency amount will be calculated using the BitPay Exchange Rate at the time the refund is made. The precise cryptocurrency amount will likely be different than the original amount sent, but its value will be equivalent in the pricing currency. For more information, please click here.
Standard Warranty
- Warranty service due to a hardware failure must be requested within ninety (90) days of delivery.
- Our Standard Warranty covers the following: diagnostic fees, repair & labor costs, and return shipping once service is complete.
- The customer is responsible for all shipping costs to our service center.
- We will repair, replace, or otherwise address the covered product at our discretion. In the event that we issue a store credit, the value of the credit will be equal to the current retail price of the product. Orders within our Returns policy period are eligible for refunds.
- Service is normally completed within five (5) business days of delivery.
- Our Standard Warranty is voided if the product is transported outside of the United States of America.
- This section is effective for purchases made on or after 05/02/2024. Please click here for purchases made on or before 05/01/2024.
- We offer a One (1) Year Platinum Coverage extended warranty on many products, which can be added to any applicable product at the time of purchase or during our Returns policy period.
- The Platinum Coverage extended warranty will take effect from the original delivery date of the covered product(s).

- The following only applies to products that include an Apple Limited Warranty or AppleCare+ coverage plan, which will be disclosed prior to purchase in the tech specs.
- Coverage can be verified through Apple by clicking here.
- Products with an active Apple Limited Warranty or AppleCare+ coverage plan that require warranty service must be repaired through Apple. You can start a service request by clicking here.
- Due to reseller restrictions, any active Apple Limited Warranty or AppleCare+ coverage plans included in a purchase from mac of all trades will not include: accidental damage protection, phone support, or software support.
- Media drives are not covered by our warranties. Consumables such as batteries are guaranteed for ninety (90) days after purchase and follow the Standard Warranty throughout the guarantee period.
- Reported issues that are found to be false during RMA inspection will result in deductions to the refund, up to and including the entire refund amount.
- Products with physical damage or evidence of liquid contact, or products that are returned for warranty coverage under false pretenses, are not eligible for warranty service and will be returned un-repaired.
- All coverages and warranties are voided if the hardware of the product is modified in any way. This includes but is not limited to: replacing the battery, hard drive, or RAM.
- Software issues, including missing or altered user data, are not covered under our warranties.
- Any third-party fees, including but not limited to: diagnostic, repair, and shipping, will not be reimbursed.
- Factory sealed products are subject to a 15% restocking fee once opened, if returned.
- All coverages and warranties are voided if the product is transported outside of the United States of America.
- Store credits are valid for one (1) year from the date of issuance. Any remaining balance not used after one (1) year will be voided.
- In the event of a chargeback or dispute, mac of all trades reserves the right to recover any and all costs from the customer, including but not limited to a deduction to previous or future refunds.

- All products have a thirty (30) day return policy starting the date the product is delivered. Please keep all packaging for the duration.
- Customers may request a return by contacting customer service. Tickets are answered in the order received during normal business hours and all mac of all trades’ communication will be in U.S. English.
- If a return is requested within thirty (30) days of delivery, the customer is responsible for return shipping.
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will issue a refund of the subtotal within five business days. In the rare event of a confirmed hardware issue, we will issue a full refund within five business days.
- Products are not eligible for return after thirty (30) days from delivery.
- Consumable parts such as batteries and media drives are not covered by our warranties.
- Products with physical damage or evidence of liquid contact, or products that are returned under false pretenses, will be subject to restocking fees up to the original purchase amount.
- Software issues, including missing or altered user data, are not covered under our warranties.
- Third-party diagnostic or repair fees will not be reimbursed.

WARRANTIES APPLY ONLY TO HARDWARE PRODUCTS PURCHASED FROM MAC OF ALL TRADES (MOAT) THAT CAN BE IDENTIFIED BY THE SERIAL NUMBER ON FILE. MOAT IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF ANY PROGRAMS, DATA, OR OTHER INFORMATION STORED ON ANY MEDIA, OR ANY NON-APPLE PRODUCT OR PART NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. RECOVERY AND REINSTALLATION OF SYSTEM AND APPLICATION SOFTWARE AND USER DATA ARE NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY: (A) TO DAMAGE CAUSED BY ACCIDENT, ABUSE, MISUSE, MISAPPLICATION, OR PERIPHERALS; (B) TO DAMAGE CAUSED BY SERVICE PERFORMED BY ANYONE NOT APPROVED BY MOAT, OR (C) IF ANY APPLE SERIAL NUMBER HAS BEEN REMOVED OR DEFACED.
THESE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. MOAT SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF MOAT CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES UNDER THESE WARRANTIES, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOAT, WILL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM PERFORMANCE OF ANY REPAIR SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF REVENUE; LOSS OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS ON CONTRACTS); LOSS OF THE USE OF MONEY; LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS; LOSS OF BUSINESS; LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY; LOSS OF GOODWILL; LOSS OF REPUTATION; LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO, OR CORRUPTION OF DATA; OR ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, PROGRAMMING, OR RESTORING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED OR USED WITH YOUR PRODUCT AND ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA STORED ON YOUR PRODUCT. MOAT SPECIFICALLY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT IT WILL BE ABLE TO (A) REPAIR OR REPLACE YOUR PRODUCT WITHOUT RISK TO OR LOSS OF PROGRAMS OR DATA, AND (B) MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA. IF ANY PRODUCT SHOULD BE DAMAGED OR LOST WHILE IN MOAT CUSTODY, MOAT LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE COST OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE AFFECTED PRODUCT. OTHERWISE, MOAT LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGE SHALL IN NO EVENT EXCEED THE PAYMENTS RECEIVED BY MOAT FOR SERVICES PROVIDED PURSUANT TO THESE TERMS. THE REMEDIES SET FORTH HEREIN SHALL BE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES FOR ANY BREACH BY MOAT UNDER THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. MOAT IS NOT LIABLE FOR LOSS OR CORRUPTION OF DATA OR YOUR CONFIDENTIAL, PROPRIETARY OR PERSONAL INFORMATION OR REMOVABLE DATA. BEFORE YOU SEND IN YOUR PRODUCT FOR ANY REPAIR SERVICE, YOU SHOULD MAKE A BACKUP COPY OF YOUR DATA AND REMOVE ANY CONFIDENTIAL, PROPRIETARY OR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND REMOVABLE MEDIA.
